BOARD MEMBER | ANGÉLICA BREÑA (she/her) was born and raised in Mexico City in 1959.There she also received her education, became a teacher and a professional. Angélica has always been close to the arts and books. She have explored other worlds thanks to literature and languages like English, French, and Italian. In 2010, Angélica came to Basalt for the first time with Julian, her husband and best companion. It’s to him whom to which she credits her deep and profound connection to nature. Currently, Angélica is actively involved in the Roaring Fork Valley community through her involvement in Forest Conservancy, VOICES, Sol del Valle, the Basalt Regional Library, ACES, and Spellbinders.
