Women’s VOICES Theater Project

The Women’s VOICES Theater Project began in 2019 in response to a study by the Dramatists Guild, which found that only 22% of the plays produced in the U.S. in the previous three years were written by women. Its continuation is inspired by VOICES’ founder Barbara Reese, and is in effort to provide a stage, a page, and a microphone for local women to feel heard, feel seen, and feel a sense of belonging.

Objects in Mirror was inspired by the memories, mirages, and messaging that make up our lives. Incorporating music, humor, storytelling, and movement, local creatives take the audience on a powerful journey of human experience.
