5Point Film VOICES Youth Project
A Partnership with 5Point Film and Bridges High School
In this intensive, twelve-week, two-semester program 10 Bridges High School students work with award-winning filmmakers, artist mentors, and their peers to collaboratively create a 15-minute autobiographical film. Participants will learn vital technical and narrative skills to successfully capture and share their stories on film.

Adam Carballeira (he/him/his) - Bridges HS Teacher
Adam "Carb" has been teaching in the Roaring Fork School District for 17 years. He teaches Language Arts, Reading, and Creative Writing. He is passionate about celebrating student voices, and helping kids read and think critically. Carb loves to be outside, make art, travel and hang out with his family and friends.
Lindsey Hagen (she/her/hers) - Filmmaker
Lindsey Hagen is a Director and Executive Producer with a background in investigative journalism and cause related storytelling. Lindsey's stories call upon the human spirit and create platforms for empowerment and action. Lindsey's work has garnered numerous awards and recognition with inclusion in 150+ film festivals. Most notable, her film "Adventure Not War" which featured at Tribeca and Cannes, and her most recent film "Ode to Desolation". Her work has taken her into the field in the arctic, rainforest and desert to unearth the most unlikely of stories, revealing unsung heroes around the globe.
Regna Jones (she/her/hers) - Executive Director, 5Point Film
Regna seeks to make the world a better place through creative and impactful work in service to community development, education, and wellness. As a director and producer for the arts, she has worked in both the private sector as a business owner as well as in human services, and arts-based non-profits. Most recently, Regna was Director of Operations and Education for Aspen Film where she was responsible for the overall operations as well as for producing the three signature festivals. Prior to her move to the Roaring Fork Valley, she was the Artistic Director and co-owner of the historic Paradise Theatre in Paonia, CO. Programming included first-run movies, independent and foreign cinema, national musical touring acts, and original theatrical productions. Currently, she works with Carbondale Arts as Board Chair. She holds a M.Ed. from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She is a proud mom of two boys and enjoys hiking, gardening, painting and getting down on the dance floor.
Chris Naum (he/him/his) - Filmmaker
Chris Naum is an independent cinematographer and editor whose work is primarily focused on nonfiction storytelling. Chris holds a degree in film studies from one of the top10 film programs in the country and excels in bringing a cinematic, well polished quality to intimate, human-centric stories. Chris's ability to capture moments of vulnerability and engage in the world of his characters allows him to capture authentic moments rarely seen by the public. His unique verite shooting style paired with high-end visuals and editing approach has garnered him much success and recognition in the festival circuit and branded content space.
Renee Prince (she/her/hers) - Executive Artistic Director, VOICES
Renee has a passion for creating dynamic arts programs with schools and communities. She began her career as an actor and theater artist, then quickly fell in love with teaching. She was the Education Director at the Creede Repertory Theatre in Creede, CO from 2007 to 2014 and then the Education Associate with Aspen Words, the Aspen Institute’s literary organization, from 2014 - 2016. She holds a Bachelors degree in Theatre from Northwestern University and a Masters in Theatre Education from University of Northern Colorado. She loves to learn and enjoys theater adventures like the intensive summer workshop she took in Italy with the mask-theatre company Familie Floez.
Cassidy Willey (she/her/hers) - Theater Artist
Cassidy Willey is a teaching artist and program developer for VOICES, based in Carbondale, CO. Her background is in theatre education and performance. Cassidy is multilingual (Spanish, French) and has lived abroad in both Costa Rica and France. She loves the creative and spontaneous nature of devised theatre as both a director and performer. She believes in the power of storytelling to heal us, connect us, and help us lead more meaningful lives.
Art Williams (he/him/they) - Musician and Performer
Arturo "Art" Williams, teaching artist, works predominantly as a pianist, vocal artist, and actor. Art is based in Colorado's Roaring Fork Valley where he has been an active member of the arts scene for over two years. He has served in the Glenwood Springs schools through the ArtistYear AmeriCorps program and has found joy in the throws of staging productions with Glenwood Springs High School and local theatre organizations while balancing his performance career intermittently between outside engagements. His passion lies within using artistic mediums for engaging in community and using voice to speak out on contemporary issues and working with artists developing their artistic identities occupies a special place in his heart. He is honored to be collaborating with VOICES and young artists at Bridges High School to engage in work that will be true to our times and can't wait to share what they have to say.
